USCG Chief Petty Officers Association

We sponsored the Chief Petty Officer Association's Fall Golf Tournament at Olomana Golf Links in Waimanalo, Hawaii on November 7th. My brother is a Chief Petty Officer and he actually planned this event as part of his Chief’s Call to Initiation—so supporting it meant something extra to me. We came on as a hole sponsor. What I appreciated was how no-nonsense the whole thing was. Just people who serve, showing up to support each other and the community.

The tournament brought together 130+ active-duty Coast Guard members and civilian employees for a day of golf and fundraising. The money goes directly to disaster relief, scholarships, and support programs for Coast Guard families in Hawaii when things go sideways.

Military families carry a lot—deployments, constant moves, financial hits when emergencies happen. My brother's been through it. The CPOA exists to fill the gaps during those moments. It's practical, direct support when it actually matters.

We sponsored this because it aligns with who we are. Aurora Talent Lab supports causes across the country, not just in our backyard—and this one was both. The Coast Guard doesn't get the attention other branches do, but the work is constant and the families shoulder a lot of it. This felt personal, and it felt right.

If you're looking for ways to support military families in Hawaii, CPOA is doing real, quiet work.
